Crewe have completed the re-signing of Alan Tate on loan from Swansea until the end of the season.
The defender originally joined in September on an emergency loan and the deal expired on Christmas Eve, meaning he missed games against Oldham and Preston. He made seven appearances in his loan spell, with Alex winning four games, keeping three clean sheets in the process. The club are also hopeful of sealing a deal to sign left-back Greg Leigh on loan until the end of the season from Manchester City on Tuesday.
