Swansea centre-back Kyle Bartley is confident the Swans will be able to deal with the West Ham attack when they travel to east London for Sunday’s Premier League game.
Hammers forward Andy Carroll has tormented Swansea in recent seasons at Upton Park, scoring the winner two years ago and setting up both Kevin Nolan goals in a 2-0 West Ham victory last February before being harshly sent off after tangling with Chico Flores.
And, having started West Ham's last three games after being ruled out until the start of November following ankle surgery, Carroll is set to come up against Swansea once again this weekend.
We don't want to be thinking too much about a year ago, we just want to go in there full of confidence after our performance on Tuesday night.
"We've got nothing to fear, whether it's Andy Carroll or whoever we face in the Premier League," said Bartley.
"We know what we've got to do against certain players and hopefully we'll do that.
"Sam Allardyce has changed his ways a little bit and the fans are happier with that, but we're expecting all sorts of different challenges from the game.
"We don't want to be thinking too much about a year ago, we just want to go in there full of confidence after our performance on Tuesday night."
Swansea's 2-0 home victory over QPR in midweek extended their league run to one defeat in six games and took them into seventh spot, two points and two places behind West Ham who have beaten Newcastle and West Brom in their last two matches.
"We don't want to get ahead of ourselves because there's a long way to go," Bartley said.
"These eight or nine games coming up at Christmas time are going to be pivotal.
"After that we can have a look and see where we are."
