Pablo Hernandez is confident that Swansea City will avoid relegation from the Premier League this season.
The Swans will head into Tuesday's game against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in London placed 15th in the league table, just four points above the relegation zone.
The 28-year-old winger was involved in a similar fight for survival six years ago when he was playing for Getafe in 2007-08.
The Spanish club eventually maintained their Primera Liga status, and Hernandez believes that Swansea can do likewise this term.
"When I played at Getafe six years ago, it was a similar situation," the Spaniard said in the South Wales Evening Post.
"When I speak to the other players, I say 'I know this season is very long because we've played a lot of games in Europa, the FA Cup and the Capital One Cup'.
"It is not easy for one team to play a season like this. But the team is confident. The team have played well.
"Now the thing is staying in the Premier League. The football is good, the confidence is good and I think we can do it."
