Alan Tate has played down reports suggesting he may be ready to end his association with Swansea and make a fresh start elsewhere.
The 29-year-old defender missed the majority of last season after breaking his leg in a golf buggy accident.
With the Swans having fallen under new management since then, with Michael Laudrup now at the helm, Tate has been linked with a summer switch away from the Liberty Stadium.
The former Manchester United trainee is aware of the rumours, but claims nothing could be further from the truth.
Unfortunate
Having spent eight years with the Swans, and having turned out in all four divisions for the club, Tate is determined to prove that he can form part of their future.
"I was only out of the side when I was injured, but that is part and parcel of the game," he said.
"The injury was unfortunate but, as I say, I am not a quitter so I will get my head down and put in a lot of hard work.
"My future is here because this is my club. I am not going anywhere and I have never thought about going anywhere."
