Swansea City defender Steven Caulker has expressed his delight at his club's current form and hopes it continues against Fulham.

Brendan Rodgers' side knocked title-challenging Manchester City off top spot last weekend with a late 1-0 win to make it two wins in a row for the Swans.

Caulker hopes to extend this winning run with victory over Martin Jol's Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

The 20-year-old told the club's official website: "Obviously the boys have been delighted to beat a side that was then top of the table. It has been a good week since then. It is only right to celebrate the win and enjoy it, so it has been a nice few days.

Tough test

"I think we have matured massively as a team and have been in good form over the last two weeks. We have had two wins and two clean sheets so we go to Fulham with a lot of confidence and hoping to do the same."

The England Under-21 international has been a regular for Swansea this season, starting 17 Premier League games, and he is expecting a stern test against a potent Fulham attack on Saturday.

He continued: "Their strike force is brilliant and they are a good team at home. It is going to be a tough test but they don't come much tougher than Man City last week.

"The boys will go into the game with confidence and we look forward to it. Our away form this season hasn't been great, but since the turn of the year we have picked up some results."

"We will look to continue that and get three points on Saturday."
