Skysports.com understands Exeter City midfielder Ryan Harley has agreed a three-and-a-half year contract to join Swansea City.
Harley's future at Exeter has been the subject of speculation during the transfer window and he has been left out of the club's last two matches.
He has been tracked by several teams, including Derby and Brighton, but the 25-year-old now looks set to finalise a deal to join Championship high-flyers Swansea.
The former Bristol City youngster is out of contract at Exeter at the end of the season and the Grecians will receive a nominal fee for his services.
Reports suggest that Harley could be loaned back to Exeter for the remainder of the campaign before pushing for a place in the Swansea side next term.
If the deal goes through, Harley will become Brendan Rodgers' second signing of the week after midfielder Leon Britton returned to the Liberty Stadium on Thursday.
