Swansea City have leapfrogged Colchester United and gone into second place after a 1-0 home win over Bournemouth.

Andy Robinson's strike just before half time gave Kenny Jackett's side the win at The Liberty Stadium, as The Swans bounced back from a midweek home defeat to Gillingham.

In the other League One clash on Friday evening, Tranmere Rovers continued their recovery to a poor season start with a 2-1 home victory over Huddersfield Town.

Carl Tremarco gave the Wirral-based club the lead after just four minutes before Rovers were reduced to ten men on 20 minutes.

Calvin Zola Makongo was issued a straight red card for his reckless challenge on Huddersfield's Michael Collins.

The Terriers made the most of their man advantage by equalising shortly after the break, as on-loan striker David Graham struck for the visitors.

However, with six minutes remaining, Rovers substitute Delroy Facey (pictured) struck the winner to claim all three points for Brian Little's side.
