Bryan Flynn's men started the brighter of the two and caught the home team napping in the 14th minute, gaining a lead through Leon Britton (pictured).
The midfielder's second goal of the season was enough to send The Swans in the dressing room at half-time a goal to the good but Boston rallied and fought back in the second half.
The home side pressed for an equaliser and fans must have thought they were on their way to another defeat until Adam Boyd popped up with a leveller in the 87th minute, his third of the campaign.
The draw does nothing for either side to improve their league positions, although Swansea will travel back to Wales knowing they had a golden chance to come away with all three points.
