Oldham striker Matt Smith has rejected the offer of a new, improved contract to stay at Boundary Park.
Manager Lee Johnson has spoken to Smith's agent who has revealed that the player is in demand and he is expected to head to pastures new this summer.
"Matt has received a number of offers and I have no doubt he will be at a Championship club next season," Johnson told the club's official website.
Smith shot to the nation's attention with two goals to help the Latics knock Liverpool out of the FA Cup last season. He then followed that up with strikes in both matches against Everton in the same competition.
