Oldham's Jose Baxter has dedicated his match-winning performance at Hartlepool on Tuesday evening to manager Paul Dickov.

Baxter scored both goals for the Latics at Victoria Park, including a stoppage-time winner, as Dickov's men ended a run of three straight defeats in League One. The former Everton player is Oldham's top goalscorer this season, having scored eight goals in 15 appearances. He told the club's official website: "The manager has stuck by us throughout our bad patch and it was thanks from the lads. "He hasn't dropped anybody or bad-mouthed us and has stuck by us all. He is a top manager. "We have been working all week on never giving up and we showed lots of desire. On another day we might have lost that game."
