Barnsley boss expecting great things from the former Chelsea man

Keith Hill is backing Barnsley new boy Jacob Mellis to set the Championship alight this season with his performances. The 21-year-old joined the club on a two-year deal after being kicked out of Chelsea after a training ground prank in March when he let off a smoke grenade. But Hill is expecting fireworks on the pitch from the youngster as he aims to get his highly promising career back on track. "I am really pleased to have got Jacob," Hill told the club's official website. "He is a quality player and I am really looking forward to working with him. "We are both on the same page as to what is to be expected and demanded from him. "I can't think of a better talented player to recruit in the interest of bringing success to the football club."
