Tom Adeyemi shook off an unfortunate half-time incident to leave Bradford feeling sick in their Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash.
The Oldham midfielder opened the scoring in the northern area semi-final on Tuesday night shortly after suffering from a severe bout of vomiting in the home dressing room during the interval.
"I actually threw up seven times in the break, just when we were about to go out as well," he said. "The bell had already rung.
"I think the manager was just saying what he wanted us to do and there I was throwing up in the middle of the floor. It's a strange one, never happened to me before so, but obviously it worked!"
Adeyemi's current loan spell from Norwich expires before Oldham's potential Wembley date in March but, with boss Paul Dickov stating his intention to keep his loanees for the remainder of the the season, the 20-year-old would be happy to extend his stay at Boundary Park.
"To be honest, I haven't really heard anything (from Norwich)," he added. "I'm sure someone from there can get in contact nearer the time to let me know what their plans are for me. I'm really, really happy here and really enjoying my time here so hopefully that can continue."
