Defender Danny Swailes and midfielder Richie Partridge have both agreed six-month deals at County after leaving League One rivals MK Dons.
Dons midfielder Jemal Johnson has also moved to Edgeley Park on a six-month loan deal, while Colchester midfielder David Perkins has completed a similar switch.
County boss Gary Ablett is also hoping to add a fifth new addition before their rearranged clash with Swindon Town on Tuesday, with the Dons' Jabo Ibehre a possible option for an emergency loan deal.
