Youngster signs permanent contract at Gigg Lane

Midfielder David Worrall has put pen-to-paper on a two-and-a-half year deal with League Two promotion hopefuls Bury. The former West Brom youngster has agreed a permanent deal having spent the early part of the season on loan with the Shakers. He is set to become a regular figure in the starting line-up having played in the majority of the club's league games so far - notching four goals in the process. Although the club signed him on a free transfer, a sell-on clause will be activated should he be sold before the end of his current contract. A product of Bury's youth academy, Worrall has become a firm favourite amongst the Shakers faithful. Boss Alan Knill is said to be delighted with the deal having spoken earlier of his desire to keep the talented teenager at the club.
