New Oldham boss John Sheridan has wasted no time in stamping his mark on the League One outfit after releasing Terrell Forbes.
The versatile defender only arrived at Boundary Park at the start of the past campaign when brought to the club by then manager Ronnie Moore.
At the season's conclusion Oldham dispensed with Moore's services, who has since joined Tranmere, with Forbes having now followed him out of the exit door.
The former Queens Park Rangers full back never really won over the club's faithful during a season-long sojourn in the North West but after successfully negotiating his release the 24-year-old looks to have secured another club already.
It has been reported that Forbes has agreed terms with another League One club, with a deal set to be concluded in the not too distant future.
Meanwhile, Sheridan has confirmed that he is close to making his first signing since being handed the manager's position on a full time basis.
