OLDHAM have been handed a blow with the news that defender Dean Holden could be out of action for up to two months.
The stopper pulled a thigh muscle in training and now faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
"Dean picked up the injury in training and his absence will be a big blow," manager Iain Dowie told the club website.
The Latics are second in Division Two and Dowie will have his fingers crossed that there are no more injures as he looks to maintain the promotion push.
