Johnson seeking Fry talks

Yeovil boss Gary Johnson is seeking talks with chairman John Fry after a strange evening at Huish Park.

The Glovers boss arrived at the ground just 15 minutes before kick-off against Portsmouth on Tuesday evening and took a back seat during their 3-1 Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat. And having left after the final whistle, before his press conference, speculation was rife that Johnson could be departing the club with many supporters speculating he was unhappy at making just one transfer deadline day signing. But the former Bristol City manager said he will speak to chairman John Fry before deciding what to do next. "I'm having a quiet reflective period after a hectic transfer deadline evening," he told the BBC in a short statement. "The chairman is currently on holiday and I am waiting for him to return to speak to him about how to proceed."
