Nana back after lengthy absence

Northampton Town defender Nana has resumed training following almost 18 months out with a knee injury.

Former Chelsea trainee Nana, who was brought to Sixfields from Peterborough by former Cobblers boss Gary Johnson, has been sidelined since September 2011. The right-back has undergone several knee operations but resumed training with the youth team at the start of this week before joining in with the first-team squad later in the week. Manager Aidy Boothroyd told reporters ahead of Saturday's home game against Plymouth: "The main priority for Nana is just to make sure he can play football again. "He's been out for a long time and we will take it very slowly with him."
