Yeovil boss Gary Johnson had to bite his tongue after seeing his team dumped out of the FA Cup by Preston.
Two goals in three first-half minutes from Joel Byrom and David Amoo left the Glovers with a considerable mountain to climb at Deepdale, with the situation getting worse after the break.
Yeovil saw Ed Upson given a straight red for a late challenge on Byrom in the 63rd minute and they then conceded a third when Preston defender Chris Robertson powered home a header.
"I'd get a heavy fine if I said what I thought was one of the circumstances [for the loss]," said Johnson. "I have more complaints than just the red card - but I'm not going to get into that.
"I thought the officials affected the game and it was very difficult to go beyond that and get our game going.
"Not only were we not playing well but there was another team not playing well and it wasn't Preston."
