Skiverton reveals Glovers woe

Yeovil assistant boss Terry Skiverton admitted his side were bitterly disappointed to throw away a two-goal lead in their 3-2 loss to Tranmere.

James Wallace started Tranmere's recovery before further goals from Jake Cassidy and Danny Holmes sealed the win after Paddy Madden and Sam Foley had earlier put Yeovil ahead. "Yes there's bitter disappointment in the dressing room," said Skiverton. "For the first 20 minutes, we were outstanding today and could have had one or two more goals in that period. "But you can understand why they're top of the league and the timing of the goal - right on the stroke of half time knocked the stuffing out of us. "The positives are that our start was excellent, but it was just that 15-minute spell in the second half where we just didn't stand up to them."
