Jordan Clarke has penned a new contract with Coventry until 2014, which includes the option of a further year.

The right-back is a product of City's Academy system but despite being only 20 years of age has already made over 50 appearances for the club's first-team. Clarke told the club's official website: "Coventry is my home club and I really want to help get us back into the Championship so I am delighted to be signing a new contract. "The manager has shown great faith in me over the past couple of years and this is another sign of that and gives me a huge confidence boost going into the new season." Boss Andy Thorn added: "He's a bright young talent and because he's played so many games for us already it's easy to forget that he is still only 20. "It's a good move all round and I am delighted that he has signed."
