Marsh-Brown could join McClaren's men on loan

Skysports.com understands Nottingham Forest are closing on a loan swoop for Fulham's Keanu Marsh-Brown. The teenage full-back is considered to be a bright prospect for the future, but needs to find regular first-team football if he is to fulfil his potential. With opportunities thin on the ground at Craven Cottage, short-term deals elsewhere are considered to be the way forward. The 18-year-old took in a spell with League One outfit MK Dons last season and impressed during the second half of the campaign. A similar switch could be completed this summer, with Fulham still keen for him to learn his trade away from West London. Forest are believed to be willing to offer him Championship football next term, as they look to mount a second-tier promotion push. Reds boss Steve McClaren has endured a frustrating time in the transfer marker since inheriting the City Ground reins from Billy Davies, but he is hoping a deal can be struck for Marsh-Brown.
