Crewe Alexandra's defensive players will feature in a pre-season opener against Rhyl on Monday night.
Keeper Steve Phillips will feature alongside a back four of Harry Davies, David Artell, Adam Dugdale and Matt Toodle. They will be joined in that squad by Lee Bell, Danny Shelley, and Luke Murphy. Meanwhile Crewe's attacking line will feature in another squad at local side Congleton Town, also on Monday night. Young striker Ajay Letich-Smith will be joined alongside Byron Moore and Shaun Miller and midfielder Ashley Westwood. Both squads are set to include a number of trialists.
