Tranmere defender Zoumana Bakayogo is delighted to have signed a new two-year contract at Prenton Park.

The Frenchman, 24, joined Rovers in October 2009 and has since gone on to make more than 60 appearances for the League One outfit. He scored his first goal for the club in a 1-1 draw at Exeter in March and boss Les Parry said: "I'm really pleased Zoom will be with us for the next two seasons. "He's an excellent footballer who gives his all for the club when he plays. He's got a great attitude in training and is a wonderful character to have around the club." Bakayogo added: "I'm really glad to have signed with Tranmere again. "I want to show the manager, the players and the fans that I can do more. I want to do a really good job for the club over the next two years and work as hard as I can."
