Keeper rewarded with extra month at Victoria Park
Hartlepool have extended teenage goalkeeper Jake Kean's loan stay from Blackburn Rovers by a further month.
The 19-year-old has impressed in his eight games at Victoria Park, keeping four clean sheets since his arrival in September.
Kean's stint was due to end after this week but the two clubs came to an agreement which will see his stay run until the end of November.
Injury to Scott Flinders and Andy Rafferty has allowed the teenager to gain experience at League One level, having never made a senior appearance for Rovers.
Hartlepool host Vauxhall Motors in the FA Cup this weekend and both Kean and fellow loan signing James Poole have been given the go-ahead to feature.
