Nathan Jones has signed a new one-year extension to his current Yeovil contract.

The Welsh full-back, who has only just returned to training after a groin operation, has been rewarded for his excellent form at Huish Park this season.

"I am pleased to have Nathan for an extra year as it demonstrates we are trying to build a team and keep hold of our best players," said manager Russell Slade.

But the Glovers boss insists he will not rush Jones back into action too soon.

"We will take each day as it comes with him," he added.

Slade also confirmed he has opened contract talks with midfielders Paul Terry and Jean-Paul Kalala.
