Cheltenham Town pulled off a shock result at Huish Park, as they came away from their trip to Yeovil Town with a 1-0 victory.

Prior to kick-off and 20th placed, Cheltenham would have held little hope against Russell Slade's in-form Yeovil, who now drop to fourth, courtesy of JJ Melligan's winner two minutes from time.

Oldham Athletic continue their impressive recent form after coming away from a tough looking trip to Doncaster Rovers with a point courtesy of Chris Porter's sixth goal in as many games.

Graeme Lee (pictured) had earlier capped his return from suspension by breaking the deadlock in the 23rd minute but on the stroke of half-time, Porter proved the man on the spot to grab John Sheridan's Latics a share of the spoils.

Tranmere Rovers moved up to second in the table after picking up a creditable 0-0 draw against a Swansea City side, who are yet to fire this season.

In Friday night's final clash, managerless Bournemouth and Northampton Town played out another goalless stalemate.
