Swansea have completed the double signing of Thomas Butler and Kevin Amankwaah.

Republic of Ireland international Butler has secured his move to the Liberty Stadium after agreeing terms and passing a medical.

Butler has been seeking a move away from Hartlepool since the end of last season after handing in a transfer request.

Swans boss Kenny Jackett is a big fan of Butler and has been chasing the winger for some time.

Swansea moved swiftly for Amankwaah after he turned down the offer of a new deal at Yeovil.

Both players will be hoping to help Swansea gain promotion from League One this season after missing out last term.
