Brentford climbed into the automatic promotion spots at the top of League One with a 2-1 win at Yeovil.
Martin Allen's men took the lead on 12 minutes thanks to Isaiah Rankin's close range effort but the two sides were soon level again when Terry Skiverton took advantage of a mix-up at the back to head the equaliser.
However, it was Brentford who claimed the points in the second half when Alex Rhodes (pictured) finished from 10 yards out to send The Bees four places up the table and back into the top two.
Swindon missed the chance to pull away from the relegation zone after losing 2-1 at home to Tranmere.
Goals from Chris Greenacre (21) and Sam Aiston (33) put the visitors in command but Swindon made a fight of it in the second half and pulled a goal back through Jamie Cureton with 20 minutes remaining.
Tranmere held on to open up a six-point gap between them and the relegation zone in League One.
