Ipswich have signed Alex Henshall on a permanent two-year deal after the winger impressed on loan from Manchester City.
The 20-year-old spent the final six weeks of last season on loan at Portman Road and, after being released by the Premier League champions, he has put pen to paper on a full-time contract with the Tractor Boys.
Henshall joined City in 2010 at the age of 16 and spent loan spells with Chesterfield, Bristol Rovers and then Mick McCarthy's side.
