Blackpool forward David Goodwillie is targeting a regular spot in the first team following his return to fitness.
The on-loan Blackburn marksman came off the bench during the second half of Saturday's clash with Nottingham Forest to make his second appearance for the Tangerines, and he is keen to impress interim player-manager Barry Ferguson in training as he pushes for his first start.
He told the club's official website: "It felt great to get a wee run out. I've been eager to get on and Fergie (Barry Ferguson) knows that, so I'm glad he got me on when he did.
"I feel as sharp and as fit as I've ever been, but it's up to the manager, I just have to wait for my chance and bide my time. He sees training and he picks his team from there, so hopefully he will see me training hard and will put me in."
