Blackpool manager Paul Ince wants son Thomas to stay at the club next season.
The winger is one of the hottest properties outside the Premier League and has been linked with a number of other clubs.
Dad Paul said: "I hope we've not seen the last of Thomas in a tangerine shirt. He's one of the situations we'll be addressing.
"He will move on and be a top, top player in the Premier League. I just hope it's not this summer he moves."
Ince is currently away with England's Under-21 side preparing for the European Championships in Israel and the Blackpool manager says it's good for him to get international experience to go with an excellent season for his club. Paul added: "I think he's been outstanding for the club.
"The last six or seven games have taken their toll on Thomas, but you expect that, he's only a kid.
"He's played every game for Blackpool, and for England. He looks tired and you can see that. But we should be pleased to have seen a kid come here and do so well. He's been a joy to watch.
"To have so much pressure on his shoulders, as a young kid, you can't underestimate. The 18 goals he scored this season kept Blackpool in the Championship.
"I'm not just saying that because he's my son. When you look at his goals and assists, he's done brilliantly."
