Isaiah Osbourne is determined to make an impact at Blackpool after completing his move to Bloomfield Road from Hibernian.
Sky Sports revealed earlier this week that the Seasiders had made a move to sign the midfielder, and the Championship club have now confirmed that a deal has been finalised.
The former Aston Villa man, who has spent the last 12 months in the Scottish Premier League, has signed a one-year deal with an option of a further year.
He will link up with manager Ian Holloway for a second time after a brief meeting during a loan spell at Leicester City.
"I'm delighted to be joining this club and absolutely buzzing to be here," he told the club's official website.
"I went on-loan to Leicester when I was playing for Aston Villa and I only had one training session under him before I was called back, but he made a big impression on me in a short space of time.
"I got to like him even during that one day and hopefully this time it lasts a little bit longer than the first time."
He added: "I really see myself slotting into the way Blackpool play and I love the style of football that the manager plays."
