Knill keen on Grant comeback

Scunthorpe manager Alan Knill is hoping top scorer Bobby Grant will be back in action when they host Stevenage on Saturday.

The forward - who has bagged nine goals this season - has not featured since the New Year's Eve clash with Chesterfield when he aggravated a troublesome ankle injury. Boss Alan Knill expects Grant to return against Boro, which will provide a timely boost given the Iron have Cliff Byrne, Jimmy Ryan, Matt Godden, Michael Collins and Connor Jennings on the sidelines. "Bobby hasn't trained but we're hopeful he will at the end of the week," Knill told Scunthorpe's official website. "It has just been too sore for him, but we think he'll definitely be back at the weekend. That's good for us because we're struggling for players." Knill also confirmed that midfielder Damien Mozika has returned to training after missing three months with a calf problem.
