Hill makes Rams defender his sixth signing

Derby County defender Miles Addison has joined Barnsley on a six-month loan deal. As revealed by skysports.com earlier this week, Derby have loaned out the highly-rated defender so that he can get some first-team football under his belt. Addison recently signed a new two-year contract at Pride Park, but the club believe he will be best served by going out on loan for the first half of next season. He missed 10 months of 2010 after undergoing foot surgery before returning in the second half of the last campaign. His arrival at Oakwell will help to fill the gap created by Jason Shackell's recent move in the opposite direction. Addison becomes new Tykes boss Keith Hill's sixth signing this summer.
