Ian Holloway is keen to see his key men remain at Blackpool until at least the summer.
The Seasiders' fine form this season has led to a number of their leading lights being linked with moves elsewhere.
The likes of Charlie Adam, David Vaughan and Matt Gilks are all reported to have drawn admiring glances from afar, leading to rumours that their days at Bloomfield Road could be numbered.
Holloway accepts that eye-catching performances are going to lead to speculation, but hopes he can see out the January transfer window with the core of his squad still intact.
"If someone came in tomorrow and offered me a huge amount of money for Charlie, would I be that worried that we didn't have him in the team anymore?" he said in the
Blackpool Gazette.
"It will just give someone else the opportunity to play, and that's what I have been saying for a long while.
"What I don't want to do is lose Charlie, David Vaughan, Stephen Crainey and Matt Gilks all at the same time. That would be too many. It's hard to build after losing that many.
"But I don't believe any of them will want to go at the moment.
"I think they should all stay, at least until the summer, because I think every one of them will have a better chance of enhancing their reputation with us.
"I don't think any of them could play for a better club than us at the moment...though I might be totally biased.
"If someone does come in, I have promised every one of them that I will look at it, and then we'll discuss it, and we'll see if it is the right club for them, and if it isn't, then they won't be going anywhere."
