Goalkeeper Paul Rachubka is set to return to the Blackpool squad ahead of Tuesday's clash with Birmingham.

Goalkeeper added to 25-man squad list in time for fixture

Blackpool goalkeeper Paul Rachubka is set to return to the Blackpool squad for the game with Birmingham on Tuesday. A knee operation ruled the 29-year-old out of contention for a place in the initial 25-man Premier League squad list at the start of September. With his knee troubles behind him, Rachubka looks set to make the bench as Blackpool welcome Birmingham City to Bloomfield Road. Matthew Gilks and Richard Kingson have undertaken goalkeeping duties for the Seasiders this season thus far. "We gave the Premier League the 24-hour notice required in advance of the fixture for Paul to be registered," club secretary Matt Williams told the club's official website. "We can chop and change the squad throughout January, providing we keep the 25 and give the Premier League 24 hours notice of intention to change the squad."
