Under 21 international to join Pool on pre-season tour

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway is considering signing Malaury Martin after inviting the French midfielder on one of the club's pre-season tours. The Monaco player will join the newly-promoted Premier League club on a trip to Devon after impressing in training during a recent trial. Martin, 21, has been loaned out in the past by Monaco after failing to secure a first-team place, but Holloway believes that the French youth international possesses undoubted talent. The Blackpool boss told The Gazette: "We've got a lad on trial who I'd seen through videos and DVDs. "Luckily for me he's been confident enough to come and let me see how good he is. "He'll definitely be coming down to Devon with us and showing us what he can do. "He's spent his career being loaned out by Monaco, but has played at every level of French international football up to Under 21, so that's the sort of calibre who want to sign for us now." Meanwhile, Dekel Keinan is to undergo a medical with Blackpool on Thursday as he closes in on a move.
