Robinson makes second signing at Dons

MK Dons have signed Gary Mackenzie on a free transfer from Scottish side Dundee. The 24-year-old defender will join the League One outfit on a two-year contract on 1st July. New MK Dons boss Karl Robinson believes Mackenzie will prove a valuable addition to the squad. "Gary is another young player with a hunger to succeed and a desire to help take this club to a higher level", said Robinson. "Dundee have had one of the best defensive records in that division for the last few years and it's no coincidence that Gary has been at the heart of it. "When you look at Graham Dorrans at West Brom and Robert Snodgrass at Leeds, you can see that players coming out of that level in Scotland can be successful and I'm sure Gary will be another." Mackenzie added: "Playing for an English club was something I'd always wanted to do and I feel the time is right in my career to take that step. I enjoyed my time at Dundee but it's time for a new challenge."
