Dunfermline Athletic boss Jim Leishman is set to start French trialist Souleymane Bamba and new boy Calum Woods in the friendly against La Liga outfit Osasuna on Thursday.
Youngster Woods was released by Liverpool at the end of last season, and has signed a two-year deal at East End Park.
While 21-year-old ex-Paris St Germain man Bamba caught the eye in a set of matches for out-of-contract players in Holland.
He has not yet been signed, but has already impressed assistant Craig Robertson enough to earn a start against the Spaniards.
"Bamba trained with us and did fine. He will play part of the game against Osasuna," Robertson told the Daily Record.
The Pars will also be boosted by the returns of Gary Mason (pictured), Aaron Labonte and Phil McGuire after their injury problems, but Dutch keeper Dorus de Vries has returned to Holland.
The former Sheffield Wednesday shot-stopper has been offered a one-year deal, but his agent has gone away at a crucial time for the Scottish Premier League club.
"We are waiting for word. His agent has gone on holiday and we are trying to contact the agent's partner to see what is happening," said Leishman.
Meanwhile, former Dunfermline midfielder Derek Young is to have a trial at Blackpool.
