Blackpool have completed the double signing of defender Michael Jackson and winger Adrian Forbes.
Jackson, who left Tranmere at the end of last season, has agreed a one-year deal at Bloomfield Road with the option of a further 12 months.
Forbes (pictured) has joined from Swansea on a two-year contract, and Seasiders boss Simon Grayson is excited about the goal threat he will bring from midfield.
"Adrian can play on the right side, the left side or through the middle," Grayson told Blackpool's official website.
"He's a hard-working player with decent pace and an eye for a goal, which we've been lacking from midfield and wide areas."
Grayson also hopes that Jackson's experience will add another dimension to Blackpool's play this season.
"Michael's been very solid in his career and his stats will prove that over the number of games that he's played," he commented.
"In the last two seasons alone he's played 80 games plus for Tranmere.
"He was their captain, he's been a leader throughout his career, from Bury to Preston to Tranmere, and you need experienced players, you need characters and leaders both in dressing room and on the pitch, and Jacko will fit right into that category."
