Tranmere Rovers have rebuffed Blackpool's approach to take striker Simon Haworth on loan.
The Seasiders were keen to boost their attack by taking Haworth (pictured) on loan at Bloomfield Road.
However, Rovers boss Brian Little has decided to retain Haworth because of injuries and suspensions to his other strikers at Prenton Park.
Haworth only made his second start for the Wirral club on Saturday after recovering from a broken leg he suffered back in January.
One striker that has left Rovers is Paul Robinson, as the 20-year-old has taken up a two-week trial with Conference club York City.
Robinson has not even featured in Tranmere's reserves of late and Little was keen to get the hit-man some possible playing time with the Bootham Crescent outfit.
