Notts County have signed Nottingham Forest winger Stephen McLaughlin on a one-month loan deal.
McLaughlin linked up with the rest of the Notts squad at training on Monday and the Irishman will go straight into the squad for the Sky Bet League One trip to Crewe on Tuesday night. The 24-year-old joins Forest team-mate Louis Laing on the other side of the River Trent, after the defender also made a loan move to Meadow Lane this month. McLaughlin joined Forest from Derry City in January 2013 and spent time on loan at Bristol City at the start of the 2013/14 season, making seven appearances for the Robins. He returned to the City Ground and made his debut for Forest in April. The Irishman has made five appearances for the Championship side this season, most recently in the Capital One Cup game against Tottenham.
