Sky Sports understands a number of clubs are monitoring Simon Gillett's situation at Nottingham Forest following an impressive start to his City Ground career.
Gillett joined Forest in the summer following his departure from Doncaster and secured a reunion with his former Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll after catching the eye on trial.
He has quickly become a fans' favourite at Forest and has been a key performer for the Championship club after making 14 appearances in all competitions.
His form for Forest has caught the attention of several rival clubs, who are on alert as Gillett is out of contract at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old only signed an initial one-year deal at Forest, with the option of a further 12 months if he played in a certain number of games.
