Forward Matt Derbyshire insists the Oldham squad are fully behind manager Paul Dickov.
On-loan Nottingham Forest striker Derbyshire scored the second goal in Latics' impressive 2-0 win at Crewe on Tuesday night.
The victory was only Oldham's second of the season and took the heat off Dickov, whose position has come under question in some quarters - scrutiny that leaves Derbyshire baffled.
The former Blackburn man told the Manchester Evening News: "It's ridiculous. If anyone had not been to our games then they might look at it and think the manager is under pressure but if anyone has been coming and watching our performances they would realise how good of a gaffer he is and how hard the players are working for him.
"As far as pressure goes, well, it's absolutely ridiculous.
"I am so glad that I have him as a gaffer and I am sure if you asked every single one of the boys they would say the same."
