Skysports.com understands Nottingham Forest are lining up a loan swoop for Queens Park Rangers winger Lee Cook.
Cook is well down the pecking order at Loftus Road and was not named in QPR's 25-man squad for the Premier League this season.
The 29-year-old has seen the last few seasons blighted by a series of injuries and QPR are happy to loan him out so that he can get some match action under his belt.
Nottingham Forest boss Steve McClaren is keen to bolster his squad and is ready to bring Cook to the City Ground.
Cook is thought to be training at Forest ahead of securing a loan switch away from Loftus Road.
