Gunners boss wants youngster to remain at the Emirates

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has ruled out a summer move to Norwich City for youngster Henri Lansbury. Recent reports suggested that the 20-year-old, who made 23 Championship appearances for the Canaries last season while on loan from the Gunners, was set for a £1.5million move to Carrow Road. However, the Frenchman has said he would like to see more of the player this season, ruling out a move to the newly promoted side. He said: "Henri Lansbury is in a situation where I believe he will make a career and at the moment it is a bit congested for him but I believe he has the talent to play for Arsenal Football Club. "I have to give him a chance at some stage and as quickly as possible. I believe in him. Honestly, if I believe he will not play this season or has no chance to compete for a position I will tell him and let him go." Lansbury has yet to feature for Arsenal since returning from the European Under 21 Championship.
