Nottingham Forest have signed midfielder Jonathan Greening from Fulham on a three-year deal.

Midfielder re-united with boss McClaren

Nottingham Forest have signed midfielder Jonathan Greening from Fulham on a three-year contract. The £600,000 deal means 32-year-old Greening will be re-united with manager Steve McClaren, who he played under at Manchester United and Middlesbrough. Upon leaving the Riverside in 2004 Greening then spent six years at West Brom before joining Fulham on loan in 2009. That deal became permanent in 2010, but after making only 10 appearances for the Cottagers last season Greening wanted to leave in order to find first-team football. The midfielder has become McClaren's second Forest signing of the summer following the arrival of Andy Reid from Blackpool earlier this month.
