Skysports.com understands that Swansea are lining up a move for Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Lee Camp.
The Swans were on the look-out for a new keeper following Dorus de Vries' departure for Wolves and they managed to secure the services of Jose Moreira from Benfica.
But manager Brendan Rodgers is eager to bring in another keeper in readiness for the club's maiden Premier League campaign.
Chairman Huw Jenkins told Sky Sports News on Wednesday that the Welsh outfit have turned their attention elsewhere with loan target David Stockdale set to join Leeds from Fulham, as skysports.com reported last week.
Camp is now top of Rodgers' wish-list having been hugely impressive during the last two seasons.
The 26-year-old helped Forest to the Championship play-offs the last two years, during which he was handed the captain's armband and earned his Northern Ireland debut in March.
However, the former Derby and QPR keeper is under contract at the City Ground until 2013 so Swansea would have to stump up a significant fee to prise Camp away from the Reds.
