Leicester boss looking forward to working with full-back

Sven Goran Eriksson is confident Leicester City will be a 'stronger side' following the signing of Lee Peltier from Huddersfield Town. Peltier has joined the Foxes on a three-year contract after the Championship club had an undisclosed bid accepted by Huddersfield earlier in the week. The full-back knows Eriksson's assistant Derek Fazackerley from their time together at the Galpharm Stadium and the Leicester boss is looking forward to seeing Peltier in action. "I am very happy that Lee has decided to join us," Eriksson told the club's official website.

Talented

"He is our first signing of the summer and it is important that we sign players who want to play for Leicester City. "Lee certainly wants to play for us and shares our ambitions. "Lee is a talented young player, who has shown his versatility in recent seasons by playing in various positions across the back four and also in midfield. "He has pace, which is very important in the modern game and is something that we value very highly here. "We will definitely be a stronger side with him involved and I know from what Derek Fazackerley has told me that he was a popular player at Huddersfield Town."
